We're excited to welcome a Supervisor Patient Support Assistant (PSA), to our Environmental Services Team.
As a Supervisor Patient Support Assistant (PSA), improving the patient's experience is the focus of your daily tasks, both directly and indirectly. You will supervise the PSAs while participating as a valued member of Environmental Services and coordinating workflow.
Through a team of dedicated PSAs, you will deliver a safe and clean environment providing staff with ready access to clean linen, materials, and equipment. You and the team will have the opportunity to interact with patients by distributing meals, moving them safely throughout the hospital and assisting the clinical team to position and support their patients during treatment and care. As a supervisor you will enable the team through clear direction and support, providing on the job assistance, feedback and being a role model for others.
Key Responsibilities include:
- The Supervisor completes all PSA duties with additional responsibilities.
- Prioritise workloads and organise replacement staff due to short term emergent leave e.g., sick leave.
- Support PSAs in the completion of their day-to-day duties.
- Monitor communication regarding unscheduled tasks to ensure completion.
Remuneration value up to $83,100 p.a., comprising salary between $69,486 - $72,833 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (OO3).
