AUTOMOTIVE TEACHERS - TAFE Queensland Gold Coast

TAFE Queensland is looking for experienced Automotive (Heavy Vehicle) tradespeople who want flexible, casual teaching opportunities while staying connected to industry. If you’re passionate about your trade and enjoy mentoring others, this is your chance to make a real impact at our Ashmore campus.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver hands-on, industry-relevant training across classroom, workshop and simulated environments
  • Support students to succeed using modern, flexible teaching approaches
  • Develop and implement practical assessments aligned to national training packages
  • Share your real-world experience to inspire and guide future tradespeople
  • Build strong relationships with students, industry and colleagues

What you’ll need

Mandatory Requirements:

  • AUR31120 - Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent) 
  • TAE40122 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
  • Current industry experience in automotive/heavy vehicles
