About the role
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Actively engage with Cultural Reporting Line to access culturally informed, guidance and advocacy.
- Maintain access to Cultural Support, as determined by the individual, to strengthen cultural identity, wellbeing, and professional growth.
- Participate in and represent the organisation at cultural events, community activities, and engagement forums to build respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities, with appropriate support provided by the team.
- Lead the development of models of care and services for the Metro North Health Service that optimise the scope of practice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners, Health Workers and Liaison Officers, to support business imperatives, and resolve large-scale complex critical clinical service or workflow issues.
