About the role:
- Provide advanced clinical care and leadership by delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care, managing complex patient needs, and supporting clinical decision-making within the team.
- Lead and coordinate nursing teams, acting as shift coordinator or team leader, providing guidance and support to Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and other healthcare staff.
- Promote safe, quality healthcare through adherence to professional standards, policies, quality improvement initiatives, and best-practice patient care.
- Support education and workforce development by mentoring, supervising, educating, and upskilling nursing staff to foster a skilled and capable workforce.
- Drive innovation and professional practice through participation in research, clinical audits, policy development, and implementing evidence-based improvements to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
About you:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), supported by a relevant postgraduate qualification or a commitment to completing one within an agreed timeframe.
- Bring your proven ability to provide strong clinical leadership, mentor and support staff, and contribute to a culture of excellence, integrity, and professional nursing practice.
- Demonstrate advanced clinical expertise and critical thinking skills, enabling the delivery and coordination of high-quality, person-centred care in complex and fast-paced healthcare environments.
- Highly developed communication, consultation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and effectively manage negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Bring your demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, while contributing to continuous improvement and organisational success.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $139,252 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $57.48 - $61.55 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
