Your new role:
As a Registered Nurse in Stradbroke Ward, you will provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care to patients across a diverse medical and surgical caseload, including general medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology and palliative care. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will apply evidence-based practice, clinical leadership and critical thinking skills to deliver quality patient outcomes while contributing to continuous improvement, professional development and a culture of excellence across Bayside Health Service.
About you:
You are a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated experience delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care within a medical and/or surgical setting.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and decision-making skills with a focus on quality patient outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, carers and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Commitment to continuous learning, professional development and maintaining contemporary clinical practice.
- Passion for quality improvement, patient safety and upholding the values of integrity, compassion and respect in all aspects of care.

Stradbroke Ward is a 34-bed acute medical and surgical unit caring for patients across specialties including general medicine, general surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology and palliative care. The ward is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care through strong multidisciplinary collaboration with patients, families and carers.
