Your new role:
As a Radiation Therapist, you will provide safe and effective radiation therapy services to oncology patients within a multidisciplinary team environment. Working across treatment and planning areas, you will apply your clinical knowledge to deliver high-quality patient-centred care while contributing to service development, education and quality improvement initiatives. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and exposure to diverse clinical experiences across both Princess Alexandra Hospital and Mater centres.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering routine radiation therapy treatment and planning services.
- Applying radiation therapy principles and clinical knowledge to patient care and decision-making.
- Maintaining high standards of safety and compliance in the operation of radiation therapy equipment.
- Providing education, support and psychosocial care to patients and their families.
- Participating in quality improvement activities and contributing to the development of clinical practices and protocols.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) Cancer Services is a highly developed, multidisciplinary cancer service in one of Australia's largest teaching hospitals.
The hospital provides a comprehensive adult cancer service encompassing haematological, surgical, and medical and radiation oncology specialities.
