Join Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services (MSAMHS) as a Senior Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist and play a pivotal role in supporting people following a suicidal crisis. As the Clinical Care Coordinator for The Way Back Service, you will provide expert clinical leadership, coordinate seamless care pathways, and strengthen partnerships between health services and community providers to improve recovery outcomes and reduce the risk of future suicide attempts.

Your new role:
As the Social Worker or Occupational Therapist or Psychologist - Senior, you will provide advanced discipline-specific clinical services while coordinating care between MSAMHS and The Way Back Support Service. You will play a key role in supporting consumers through their recovery journey and ensuring integrated, patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based assessments, interventions and care coordination for consumers with complex mental health needs.
- Lead collaboration between clinical teams and The Way Back Support Service to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision and education to less experienced clinicians, students and support staff.
- Drive service improvement initiatives, quality activities and stakeholder engagement to enhance consumer outcomes.
About you:
You are an experienced and compassionate allied health professional with a passion for suicide prevention, recovery-oriented practice and collaborative care.
You Will Bring
- Demonstrated expertise in mental health assessment, intervention and care coordination within complex clinical environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships across services.
- Proven ability to provide clinical leadership, supervision and support to multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience contributing to service development, quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
