We're excited to welcome a Registered Nurse to our Endoscopy Suites.
The Registered Nurse provides advanced, patient-focused care within the Endoscopy Procedure Suites, demonstrating clinical expertise in the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The role supports safe procedural care, coordinates patient flow, mentors nursing staff, and contributes to clinical leadership, quality improvement, and education within the unit.
The Endoscopy Procedure Suites delivers a range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic services in a specialised, high-acuity clinical environment. The service provides care for elective and emergency patients, supporting procedures such as Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, and other advanced interventions, while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, clinical excellence, and infection control.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) – State 2015 – Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 5 and the Queensland Public Service values.
- Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
Salary between $87 368 - $112 064 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $44.06 - $56.51 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) (Nurse Grade 5) (Multiple Permanent Full-time and/or Part-time positions available, hours negotiable.).
