- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity:
Provide a commercial risk and contract management service for the Townsville Hospital and Health Service. Conduct procurement activities for goods and services, and management of contracts and agreements to minimise commercial risks for the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
- High level of knowledge and ability in Procurement planning, development, administration and management.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver procurement services within a large multidisciplinary organisation, working across a diverse demographic region.
- High level communication, consultation and negotiation skills with ability to develop and refine relationships with clients and other key stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and mitigate commercial risks within a risk management framework.
- Leadership and supervisory skills including the ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing work environments.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in commerce, business, economics or health management would be well regarded.
- If relevant qualifications in Procurement (Queensland Government Procurement Certification) are not already held, the incumbent will be supported to attain these within a reasonable timeframe from commencement within the role.
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
