About Us:
- Provide an emergency service which is a core part of an integrated health system and an important interface between community and health service.Provide evidence-based and high-quality 24-hour emergency care, including to patients of all age groups who present with acute and urgent illness and injury and undifferentiated physical and behavioural disorders.
- Provide evidence-based and high-quality adult and paediatric inpatient care to patients requiring admission to a Short-Term Treatment Area.
- Provide access to culturally safe emergency care for all patients, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or other cultural identification.
About You:
- As part of a multi-disciplinary team, provide a culturally responsive service in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, develop case management and healthcare plans for Aboriginal people, and support clients in complying with their care plan.
- Engage with community members to strengthen community involvement in health service delivery.
- Provide practice and cultural support to other health professionals to build cultural competence and responsiveness.
- Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and support of Trainee and developing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander HPs to develop as competent practitioners.
