Your new role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Dentist to deliver high-quality oral health services while providing clinical leadership, mentoring and support across Metro South Oral Health.
- Deliver comprehensive general dental care to eligible patients, including those with complex treatment needs, special needs requirements and outreach service clients.
- Provide advanced clinical services and expert advice to oral health practitioners, supporting contemporary, evidence-based dental care and service excellence.
- Contribute to the development of oral health services through mentoring, training and supervision of dental students, dentists and other oral health team members.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and service leaders to support effective service delivery, continuous improvement initiatives and positive patient outcomes across Metro South Oral Health facilities.
About you:
We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused dental professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional oral health care and supporting the development of others.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and experience in all aspects of contemporary general dentistry, with the ability to manage complex and special needs patients in a public health environment.
- Proven ability to mentor, support and develop oral health practitioners and students, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration and clinical excellence.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and provide professional advice across all levels of an organisation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, combined with a commitment to ongoing professional development, quality improvement and patient-centred care.
