The Advanced Health Worker – Sexual and Reproductive Health is part of a dynamic team committed to professionalism, leadership, and excellence in care. Delivering specialist outreach services, the team supports nine Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and three towns across Cape York, providing expert advice, guidance, and care directly to residents. Within the Public Health Unit, the service works collaboratively with local health providers to deliver accessible, culturally responsive care tailored to individuals, families, and communities, with a strong focus on young people. Working alongside the Clinical Nurse Consultant, the role plays a key part in delivering specialised care across remote Cape York.
