Your new role:

As a Clinical Nurse within the Logan Acute Care Team, you will provide advanced mental health nursing care to consumers experiencing mental health crises across community settings. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver comprehensive assessments, crisis interventions and recovery-focused care while providing clinical leadership and support to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced mental health assessments, risk assessments, crisis intervention and care planning for consumers in community-based settings.
  • Provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to nursing staff and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Coordinate and manage complex consumer care, ensuring safe, high-quality and person-centred outcomes.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, education, clinical governance and service development initiatives.

About you:

You are an experienced and compassionate mental health nurse who thrives in dynamic community settings and is committed to delivering recovery-oriented care.

What You'll Bring

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
  • Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in mental health nursing, including assessment, risk management and crisis intervention.
  • Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous improvement and supporting the professional development of others.
