About your role

As a Tradesperson – Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning (HVAC), you will provide specialised maintenance and technical support to ensure Metro South Health facilities remain safe, functional and reliable. 

In this role, you will:

• Perform installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, plant and associated infrastructure
• Undertake planned and corrective maintenance activities across Metro South Health facilities
• Diagnose faults, investigate issues and implement effective solutions
• Order materials and manage maintenance-related costs and procurement activities
• Conduct ongoing condition assessments of assets and infrastructure

About you

You are a skilled and motivated HVAC tradesperson who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

You will demonstrate:

• Extensive experience in the installation, maintenance and servicing of commercial HVAC systems and equipment
• Strong technical skills and knowledge relevant to air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Ability to investigate problems, analyse information and implement practical solutions
• Trade qualifications and licences required as listed in the role description
• Willingness to participate in on-call arrangements and travel across Metro South Health facilities as required.
