About the opportunity
This position is responsible for the data validity and integrity of the Australia and New Zealand Intensive Care Society (ANZICS) database and other databases as required which provide reliable reports to the Director of ICU, other district personnel and national bodies.
Responsible for the adherence to the National Health Data Dictionary (NHDD), Queensland Health Admitted Patient Data Collection (QHAPDC) specifications and other relevant data definitions.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a permanent part-time role, working 38 hours per fortnight.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated ability in the management of an excel and/or access database.
- A demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Well-developed communication skills with the ability to deal with a range of professionals.
Role requirements
- While not mandatory a relevant administrative qualification would be well regarded.
- While not mandatory a comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology would be well regarded.
- This is a VPD risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.

- Salary range: $47.18 - $51.98 p.h. (AO4)
