What's involved – Registered Nurse Transition Pathway to Cancer Care and Palliative Care (RN CaP) practices autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team to provide nursing services within a remote health service setting. This role joins our other Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) Cancer Care and CNC and Clinical Nurse (CN) Palliative Care to provide a comprehensive service to our local communities. The RN is responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care, education and/or research. The CaP RN assumes responsibility for professional leadership in the service and applies critical thinking across all the domains. As a member of the Primary Health Care team the role will work collaboratively and more broadly with other team members to ensure sustained delivery of strategic priorities and operational imperatives.
