About your role
As a Clinical Nurse within the Additional Beds team, you'll provide advanced clinical expertise and coordination to support safe, timely patient transfers and optimise patient flow across Metro South Health.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate patient referrals, transfers and additional bed resources across Metro South Health.
- Provide advanced clinical leadership and expert nursing support in complex situations.
- Support safe and efficient patient flow and service delivery outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across the health service.
About you
You are an experienced Registered Nurse with strong clinical judgement and a passion for improving patient outcomes through effective care coordination and patient flow management.
You'll bring:
- Advanced clinical assessment, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Experience coordinating patient flow, transfers or bed management processes.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- High-level critical thinking and decision-making capability.
- Experience using ieMR, HBICS and Microsoft Office applications.
