About your role

As the Clinical Nurse Consultant – Geriatrics, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and specialist expertise in geriatrics, dementia and delirium care. 

In this role, you will:

• Provide specialist clinical leadership in geriatric, dementia and delirium care.
• Deliver expert behavioural support and non-pharmacological interventions.
• Support clinical teams with complex assessments and care planning.
• Coach, mentor and educate staff to strengthen workforce capability.
• Lead quality improvement, innovation and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.

About you

You are a compassionate and experienced nursing leader with advanced clinical knowledge in geriatric care and a passion for improving outcomes for older people.

You will bring:

• Extensive experience in geriatric nursing practice.
• Expertise in dementia, delirium and behavioural support planning.
• Advanced clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field (highly desirable).
