Your new role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide advanced clinical care and leadership within the Surgical Admissions Unit and Post Anaesthetic Care Unit, supporting patients through their perioperative journey while driving excellence in patient outcomes.
- Deliver expert clinical assessment, planning, coordination and management of patients with complex peri-anaesthesia care needs.
- Provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to nursing staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning and evidence-based practice.
- Coordinate patient care and resources effectively while contributing to safe, efficient and high-quality service delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, education activities and research that support continuous improvement in patient care.
About you:
You are a skilled and motivated nursing professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centred care and contributing to a high-performing perioperative service.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and experience in peri-anaesthetic and/or perioperative nursing practice.
- Strong leadership, communication and critical thinking skills with the ability to coordinate care and support multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to professional development, quality improvement, education and evidence-based practice to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
