  • Base salary range: $70.66 - $75.83 p.h. (PO5)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity

As the Senior Health Information Manager – Information Access, you will provide high-level leadership, advice and operational oversight of information access services across Townsville Hospital and Health Service. Working within a legislative framework, you will ensure compliance with information access and privacy requirements while supporting consistent, high-quality service delivery across both metro and rural facilities.

Reporting to the Director Clinical Information Management, you will play a key role in achieving strategic objectives across the health information management function. You will lead and develop a team, ensuring legislative timeframes are met and that effective, ethical and customer-focused information access services are delivered to internal stakeholders and the community.

Requirements:

Possession of a degree in Health Information Management (or equivalent) is required, along with eligibility for full membership of the Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA)
