Your new role:

As a Clinical Nurse within the Wellbeing Team, you will provide advanced, person-centred mental health care to consumers experiencing acute distress and situational crises. Working autonomously and collaboratively, you will contribute to quality care, clinical leadership, and continuous service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive assessments, safety planning and evidence-based interventions for consumers experiencing mental health concerns and suicidal distress.
  • Deliver expert clinical leadership and coordinate care for consumers with complex mental health needs.
  • Support quality improvement, risk management, and adherence to professional standards and clinical governance frameworks.
  • Mentor and support staff and students while contributing to education, research and service development.

About you:

You are a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse who is committed to recovery-focused mental health care and achieving positive outcomes for consumers.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in mental health nursing practice and assessment.
  • Strong leadership, communication and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while fostering collaborative multidisciplinary relationships.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement, education and professional development.
