Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $79,051 to $116,189 p.a. (HP3)
  • Salary range: $113,979 to $122,048 p.a. (NG6-1)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity:

As part of the Charters Towers Community Mental Health Services multi-disciplinary team, the Mental Health Addictions Clinician provides specialist clinical assessment and treatment services to people presenting with problematic substance use and/or mental health problems. A key component of the role focuses on the co-morbidity of addictions with mental health problems and works with the team in promoting holistic wellbeing through health promotion and workforce development.

This is a permanent full-time position located in Charters Towers.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory qualifications (Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Social Work) and proof of registration (if applicable).
  • Possession of class C drivers' licence.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
