Your new role:
The Manager Clinical Performance and Business Analytics leads the delivery of high-level analytical insight, reporting, and performance intelligence across Metro South Health. Partnering with executive, clinical, and operational stakeholders, you will translate complex health, financial, and activity data into clear, actionable dashboards and strategic advice that drives operational improvement and system-wide productivity. Leading multiple analytical workstreams, you will strengthen business intelligence capability, support clinical network initiatives, and build a culture of data-driven decision making. This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing organisational performance, supporting executive leadership, and improving health service outcomes through innovative analytics, benchmarking, and continuous improvement.
About you:
You are a highly analytical and influential health or performance analytics professional with strong technical capability, exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, and a proven ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive operational and strategic improvement in large, complex environments. You will have:
- Highly skilled in health performance, financial or operational data analysis, with strong BI and reporting capability
- Proven ability to translate complex datasets into clear insights, dashboards, and executive-level reporting
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience partnering across clinical, operational, and executive teams
- Demonstrated capability in driving performance improvement, productivity initiatives, or production planning in complex organisations
- Advanced communication, problem-solving, and influencing skills with a strong focus on outcomes and continuous improvement
