About Us:
The Perioperative Care Unit (PCU) currently comprises of 11 Operating Theatres (9 funded) and 15 Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) recovery bays and have a throughput of 15,000 procedures per year. Future growth opportunities lie in a 12th theatre shell space and the capacity to expand to 18 PACU recovery bays.
About your opportunity:
In this position you will…..
- Management of Instrumentation ie repairs, replacement, instrumentation stock levels, coordinate maintenance.
- Management of Consignment – Liaise with Surgical Reps and Surgical Department heads concerning consignment of instrumentation or consumables.
- Sterile Stock Room Management – management of storage/locations within all storerooms, management of back orders, monitor high-cost consumables etc.
- Logistics Management – preparation of briefing notes, liaising with Surgical Reps, Consultants and Surgical Bookings.
