About the role

Permanent full-time opportunity to support the Post Acute Care Service by delivering clinical support tasks under the supervision of allied health professionals. You will assist with treatment programs, contribute to patient care in home, clinic, and telehealth settings, and support patients transitioning from hospital to home to improve their functional capacity and quality of life.

 

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Assist in the provision of treatment to clients as prescribed by an allied health professional, with indirect supervision and grading interventions according to guidelines set by the professional
  • Prepare individual or generic treatment resources as directed by the allied health professional
  • Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, including contributing to case conferences and team meetings, documentation and statistics as appropriate
  • Assumes responsibility for assigned workload by utilising planning and coordination skills in the management of daily workload
