We are looking for a Production Manager to join our team in Maryborough to manage production on a day-to-day basis of the Linen Service laundries, achieving operational efficiency whilst maintaining a safe work environment and deliver a balanced outcome meeting our customer requirements.

What you'll do 

Reporting to the Local Laundry Site Manager, you will coordinate the production sequence, workflow and activity levels to ensure optimum service delivery and address emerging issues through effective delegation and application of available resources and provide advice to the Laundry Site Manager. In addition, you will: 

  • Pro-actively identify and manage risks within the production environment, with a consideration of risks and impacts across the work unit as a whole.
  • Manage and coordinate breakdown response including redirection of staff, affecting repairs, redistribution of linen stocks.
  • Lead all laundry shifts through active, on-floor engagement – encouraging high performance, building competency, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

About you

We are searching for someone with:

  • Proven ability to deliver and maintain high quality services to clients.
  • Demonstrated experience in the supervision and leadership of staff in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work as a team member to achieve goals of the work unit.
  • An understanding of organisational policies, including values and goals and the ability to adhere to.
  • Ability to communication effectively individually or in group situations.
  • Computer literacy skills to support required communication, business writing, including rostering and QH system reporting requirements.
