About the role

Support the delivery of high‑quality, comprehensive Pharmacy Services across The Prince Charles Hospital and Metro North by assisting with day‑to‑day pharmacy operations under the guidance of a registered Pharmacist.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Deliver a wide range of Pharmacy services under the direction and supervision of registered Pharmacists including (but not limited to) dispensing prescriptions, individual patient supply for inpatients, ward imprest supply, clinical information documentation (including adverse drug reactions), and repacking of medication.
  • Provide Pharmacy support services to multiple clinical Pharmacy teams in the ward area and the dispensary as required by the Team Leader.
  • Maintain stock levels through the ward imprest system for the designated ward areas.
  • Provide broad general administrative support contributing to the efficient operation of the Pharmacy Department.
  • Provide cashier and front counter services as required to the Pharmacy Department.
