About the role
As the Senior Director Strategy and Planning, you will provide strategic leadership and expert advice to the Executive and Board while leading the development and delivery of integrated planning frameworks, organisational strategy and health service planning initiatives.
- Lead strategic, operational and health service planning to support the long term sustainability and growth of the North West Hospital and Health Service.
- Provide high level strategic advice to the Chief Executive, Executive Leadership Team and Board on planning, performance, governance, business intelligence and emerging opportunities.
- Drive innovation through horizon scanning, policy analysis and the identification of future health service trends, technologies and funding opportunities.
- Build and lead a high performing team while fostering strong partnerships with clinicians, government agencies, communities and key stakeholders.

Requirements
- A relevant tertiary qualification in business administration, project management or health service management would be highly regarded.
- High level skills and experience in strategic, business and operational planning.
- Excellent presentation and oral and written communication skills.
- Travel may be required and some travel may require overnight stays.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
- A period of probation may apply.
