What your day could look like

As Team Leader – GARSS, you'll help shape how care is delivered for people recovering from illness, injury, and stroke. You'll lead with purpose—supporting your team, strengthening services, and making a daily difference in patients' lives and independence.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Leading and inspiring a multidisciplinary team to deliver care that restores independence and improves quality of life
  • Shaping service direction and workforce planning to meet the evolving needs of the community
  • Driving innovation and continuous improvement to enhance safety, quality, and patient outcomes
  • Building strong partnerships across healthcare and the community to create seamless, connected care

Let's talk about you!

You're more than an experienced clinician—you're someone who sees the bigger picture. You lead with compassion, act with integrity, and create environments where people feel respected, supported, and empowered to do their best work. You're energised by the chance to guide others, improve services, and make a genuine difference in a regional community.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Relevant allied health qualification with current registration or membership
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and delivering service outcomes in healthcare
  • Strong capability in planning, resource management, and driving service improvement
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative mindset

You'll stand out from the crowd if you bring experience in rehabilitation or geriatric care and/or further study in leadership or a clinical specialty.

Above all, you'll be someone who embraces the opportunity of regional practice—building meaningful connections, leading with courage, and delivering care that reflects compassion, dignity, innovation, and integrity.

This is your chance to build a rewarding career while shaping services, supporting your team, and improving the lives of your community—every single day.
