What you'll do
In the Clinical Nurse role, you will provide clinical expertise to assess, triage and coordinate retrievals for adult, paediatric, neonatal and high-risk obstetric patients. You will support rural and remote clinicians through phone and telehealth advice, liaise with aeromedical providers, and contribute to safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
RSQ is a 24/7 clinical service. Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
About you
Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority (AHPRA).
We are searching for someone who has:
- Demonstrated experience in caring for a cross section of patient type in a critical care environment.
- Demonstrated high level communication skills, especially conflict resolution and multidisciplinary team engagement.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to prioritise competing complex patient-related tasks, in a work environment that can be unpredictable and pressured.
