Your new role:
As a Provisional Fellow (Perioperative Medicine), you will work within the Department of Anaesthetics, contributing to perioperative patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings while completing the Graduate of the Chapter of Perioperative Medicine (GChPOM). You'll gain valuable experience through high-risk clinics, multidisciplinary care, perioperative ward rounds and consultant-supported clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all requirements for GChPOM certification and ANZCA fellowship progression.
- Deliver perioperative and anaesthetic care across inpatient, outpatient and procedural settings.
- Participate in high-risk perioperative clinics, multidisciplinary meetings and patient care activities.
- Contribute to teaching, quality improvement, clinical audits and service development initiatives.
About you:
You are a motivated anaesthetic trainee committed to developing expertise in perioperative medicine while delivering safe, high-quality patient care.
Skills & Experience
- Current AHPRA registration and ANZCA trainee registration.
- Completed ANZCA Fellowship Examination and eligible for Provisional Fellowship.
- Strong clinical knowledge, communication skills and commitment to continuous learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while managing competing priorities effectively.
