About Your Role
As the Mortality Review and Quality Officer, you will play an important role in supporting clinical governance, patient safety and quality improvement initiatives across Bayside Health Service.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support mortality review processes across Bayside Health Service
- Review patient records to identify and manage reportable deaths
- Provide advice to clinicians regarding coronial and legislative requirements
- Support completion of death certification and associated documentation
- Support bereaved families through sensitive communication and coordination
About You
You are a highly organised and compassionate professional with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality healthcare outcomes.
Skills & Experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders
- High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including coronial processes, highly regarded
