About us:
Our team delivers specialist mental health, alcohol and other drugs services across Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands and Banana regions, supporting a population of over 250,000.
The Gladstone Integrated Service supports people of all ages across the community who are navigating mental health challenges or concerns related to alcohol and other drugs. Our team provides thoughtful, person-centred care, from early assessment and ongoing case management through to treatment and helping connect people with the right supports when they need them most.
About the role:
- Deliver focused adult intake mental health care through comprehensive assessment, triage, risk screening, care planning and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support safe and timely entry into services.
- Coordinate seamless care transitions for consumers between inpatient services, emergency departments, primary care and community supports across the CQMHAODS network.
- Contribute to a strong culture of clinical growth by engaging in supervision, peer learning and ongoing professional development to strengthen practice and expertise.
- Support service improvement by accurately collecting clinical data, using outcome measures and contributing to quality improvement initiatives that shape better care.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary and outreach teams (including extended-hours service), while also supporting students and junior staff under senior clinical guidance to strengthen team capability.
About you:
Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
- Occupational Therapy
- Psychology
- Social Work
- Registered Nurse
Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be highly desirable.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $139,252 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $57.48 - $61.55 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
