An exceptional leadership opportunity exists for an experienced, forward-thinking Specialist Anaesthetist to join Wide Bay HHS as the Clinical Director – Anaesthetics based at Bundaberg Hospital. As Clinical Director, you will provide strategic, professional, clinical leadership to the Anaesthetics Dept, driving excellence in patient care, clinical governance, workforce development, and service innovation. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of anaesthetic services while contributing to the broader objectives of the Health Service.

Your opportunity:
- The Clinical Director Anaesthetics will lead the department and provide high quality clinical services within the Anaesthetics Department, Wide Bay Health Hospital and Health Service.
- The Clinical Director Anaesthetics will develop and implement the practice of continuous quality improvement and total quality management at management and patient levels. The incumbent will develop appropriate quality activities and clinical audits.
- The Director will work with senior staff including the Director of Medical Services to implement contemporary models of care delivery and staffing models to ensure best value and safe care is achieved through innovation and patient-centred care.
