About the role

Support the delivery of mechanical maintenance services within the Building Engineering and Maintenance Services team at Metro North Health. This role assists qualified welding tradespersons in the maintenance, repair, installation, and testing of mechanical plant, equipment, and infrastructure across healthcare facilities, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of essential services.

You will work as part of a team to undertake workshop and field-based tasks, including repair of equipment and support of installation and commissioning activities. The role requires a practical, safety-focused approach, with the ability to follow procedures, prioritise tasks, and contribute to timely and effective service delivery in a complex operational environment.
