Your Opportunity

As the International Campaign and Conversion Lead you will be responsible for:

  • Lead internal and external campaign activities to generate leads and enrolments for TAFE Queensland International programs, including preparation of strategic creative and media briefs, coordinating content and asset development, media management and reporting. 
  • Use marketing automation and nurture streams to drive lead conversion to application and enrolment, implementing project tracking and reporting, and optimising campaigns for success.
  • Support the Manager, Performance and Communications in the development of the annual marketing plan, contribute to the annual budget allocation and track approved marketing expenditure.

This position reports to the Manager, Performance and Communications.

This is a Permanent, Full-Time opportunity, unless otherwise determined.

The position will be based primarily at South Brisbane however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and specialist marketing advice in the development and implementation of key activities in the international marketing plan, applying project management techniques to develop workplans and supervise the delivery of these activities.
  • Act as brand guardian to ensure the TAFE Queensland brand guidelines and style are adhered to at all times to create engaging, impactful strategic communications for external stakeholders. 
  • Manage allocation of resources to ensure activities are completed on budget and within the required timeframe and ensuring the financial integrity of marketing activities and priorities by adhering to procurement requirements and analysing financial return on investment for marketing activities. 
  • Use knowledge of campaign processes and media strategies to develop, review, and lead the execution of tactical plans aligning to the annual regional marketing plan.
  • Work with TQIE, corporate and regional marketing teams as the central point of contact for the coordination and development of advertising briefs and assets including social media, email marketing, nurture, website and other marketing collateral as required, ensuring all success measures and KPIs are reviewed to contribute to continuous improvement practices. 
  • Develop campaign briefs for media and external creative teams that align with International Education’s strategic objectives and manage these external relationships, ensuring campaigns are optimised to a high standard and are value-for-money.
  • Develop strategy for and implement marketing automation campaigns to capture leads and drive conversion and engagement across different stages in the student lifecycle from initial enquiry to application, enrolment and pre-commencement. Lead the development of videos, case studies, and content as required to support outcomes.  
  • Design and develop omni-channel communication campaigns through Marketo (Marketing Automation Platform) and supporting digital Software as a Service (SAAS) platforms, including landing pages, emails, forms, SMS and MMS, to facilitate lead generation activities and event registration.
  • Support the development of other collateral and campaign materials as required. 
  • Contribute to the success of transformation and cultural change through promoting and modelling the established values of Showing Initiative, Working Together, Focusing on our Customer and Taking Responsibility.

How you will be assessed

The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:

  1. Ability to exhibit out-of-the-box thinking to deliver against the International Education marketing team plan with existing resources and budget.
  2. Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and written communication skills.
  3. Demonstrated ability to understand and use specific Digital Marketing applications and fit-for-purpose technology including experience with enterprise digital Content Management and Marketing Automation Systems.
  4. Build and sustain positive relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders through strong interpersonal, communication, consultation and negotiation skills.

Highly Desirable Requirements

  • Possession of tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education training.
