About the Role
In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:
- Manage and coordinate the daily functioning of the Office of Divisional Management and the Directorate in order to deliver focused services and achieve a high level of performance in the demanding executive and service delivery environment.
- Assist the Directors/Managers with various functions they may hold on an ad hoc basis within the Department of Health at state level and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
- Organise, coordinate and manage all administrative aspects of the relevant Divisional Directors in a professional manner, including screening incoming calls, diary management, organise travel itineraries, coordinating education and planning days, coordinating recruitment processes, myHR payroll processes and managing an effective office records management system.
- Manage correspondence (official correspondence and administrative records), email accounts and coordinate correspondence to ensure compliance with Queensland Health policy and completion of responses within designated and competing timeframes.
- Perform secretariat functions for relevant high-level meetings by organising and scheduling meetings, sourcing and organising venues, equipment, stationery, video conferencing, seating and catering as required.
- Prepare, generate and distribute relevant documents (agendas, reports, correspondence, etc.), coordinate attendance (staff, presenters, etc), and confidential minute recording, distribution and action tracking.
