Permanent part time opportunity to deliver competent, evidence-based clinical psychology services as a member of the Redcliffe Caboolture Community Care Unit (RCCCU) to consumers with complex mental illnesses in a specialised residential facility / rehabilitation unit, to facilitate rehabilitation, recovery, and transition to independent living. About the role

Psychological services will also be provided to families, carers and significant others with a focus on planning and provision of psychosocial care and therapeutic interventions within recovery and rehabilitation frameworks.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Deliver competent level clinical psychology services to individuals and groups of consumers with complex mental health, and alcohol and other drug treatment needs based on valid and reliable evidence, in accordance with professional practice, ethical and mental health standards to ensure culturally appropriate consumer focused outcomes.
• Utilise effective communication skills to work cooperatively and effectively with consumers, government and non-government support agencies, the multidisciplinary team and within the psychology professional group.
• Actively participate in the multidisciplinary team by providing routine psychological advice and contribute to the development of treatment and discharge plans and service provision.
