What you'll do
In the Principal Project Officer role, you will conduct evidence assessments to support safe, effective and cost-effective health technologies across Queensland Health. You will analyse complex data, provide health economics advice, prepare high-quality reports, and engage with stakeholders to support genomics initiatives, health technology assessment and service improvement.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Demonstrated experience in the development and execution of evidence strategies and plans in healthcare projects within timeframes, ensuring all output is aligned to strategic priorities.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of health technology assessment methodology particularly as regards efficiency (technical, economic and social) and equity (equal need and equal access) in health care.
- Demonstrated ability to understand data modelling and analytics concepts to translate health economic principles and research findings for policy design, health program implementation and evaluation.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work in partnership and build and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external health sector stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to plan and manage the delivery of numerous competing priorities.
