About the role
Provide advanced pharmacy assistant support within the Pharmacy Department at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, contributing to the delivery of safe, efficient, and effective pharmacy services. This role works in a ward-based clinical support capacity, assisting pharmacists in medication management processes and supporting patient care activities under supervision.
You will play a key role in facilitating medication supply, gathering patient medication information, and coordinating pharmaceutical stock within clinical areas. The role also includes supporting multidisciplinary teams, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and assisting with training and mentoring of pharmacy assistant staff.

- Facilitate dispensing, supply, and stock management of medications
- Collect and communicate medication-related information to support clinical decision making
