About the role
This position provides clinical care and provides clinical leadership to the Child and Youth Mental Health Services, which includes Child and Youth Mental Health teams, Evolve Therapeutic Services, Assertive Mobile Youth Outreach Service, the Acute Response Team and Perinatal and Infant mental health team within the Integrated Mental Health Service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Uphold the organisation's values in your everyday actions as well as adhering to the Code of Conduct to consistently behave in an honest, ethical and professional way.
- Have an in depth understanding of the Queensland Public Mental Health Services (QPMHS) Models of Service Delivery framework and how these models guide Child and Youth Mental Health service delivery.
- Provide expert leadership and transparent accountability for the clinical activity of the child and youth mental health team.
- Demonstrate a commitment to clinical documentation standards and procedural guidelines.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry or equivalent postgraduate specialist qualification.
- Current registration to practice as a specialist in psychiatry with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Medical Board of Australia.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
