What's involvedThe Manager, Board Governance provides the Corporate Secretary function to the Central West Hospital and Health Board including:

  • Provide leadership, direction and development of governance activities which require compliance with legal, financial, corporate, or statutory matters including providing the Chair, Board, Health Service Chief Executive and senior management with the necessary information and assessments to ensure that activities meet statutory requirements and corporate goals.
  • Maintain all corporate reports and records required by the statutory body, including preparation of the annual report and enabling plans.
  • Provides leadership for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of corporate governance functions including corporate documents.
  • The position operates in a complex environment involving a wide range of competing priorities and stakeholders, with often short timelines. The role is required to deliver high level, sensitive policy advice and take autonomous actions in support of the functions of the Hospital and Health Board.
