About the role:

  • Provide complex case management, psychosocial assessments, and targeted therapeutic interventions across inpatient, outpatient, and community environments.
  • Deliver core social work services aligned with valid evidence and the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Professional Practice Standards.
  • Work cooperatively within multidisciplinary teams to integrate the social work perspective into holistic patient care plans.
  • Offer clinical practice supervision to less experienced practitioners and students as your experience grows.
  • Provide general clinical advice regarding the impact of socioeconomic and psychological determinants to health staff and managers.

About you:

  • You hold a tertiary qualification in Social Work and are eligible for professional membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • You possess high-level knowledge of social work practice, theoretical perspectives, social systems, legislation, and relevant policies.
  • You can establish realistic priorities, set clear work goals, and operate autonomously to deliver timely social work services.
  • You are an exceptional communicator and advocate, with a proven ability to negotiate across multidisciplinary teams and external agencies.
  • You demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous learning, clinical research, and participating in local service improvement initiatives.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $43.68 - $58.58 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
