The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Informatics Coordinator to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Apply advanced knowledge of allied health clinical work practices to the development, implementation and evaluation of new work practices and digital hospital functionality
- Actively engage with staff across all disciplines in relation to digital health, which supports the advancement of a digitally enabled health system
- Support Gold Coast Health clinicians and administrative staff in their adoption and use of digital health technologies
- Influence training initiatives to ensure staff capability that will facilitate the adoption of digital clinical workflows
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Qualification in Audiology, Health Science, Dental Technology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Exercise Physiology, Environmental Health, Music Therapy, Nuclear Medicine, Neurophysiology, Occupational Therapy, Oral Health, Orthoptics, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Psychology, Radiography, Science (physiology or sleep medicine), Social Work, Sonography, or Speech Pathology
- AHPRA Registration
- While not mandatory, a Masters qualification and/or a post-graduate qualification in management is highly desirable
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent full time and temporary full time (one permanent position and one temporary position, up to 12 months with possibility of extension)
- Base salary ranging from $144,991 - $151,949 per annum
