Deliver expert, patient‑centred care while leading shift‑to‑shift clinical teams in RaSS and the Department of Emergency Medicine. This role drives high‑quality, cost‑effective nursing services grounded in contemporary, evidence‑informed practice. With a specialised focus on geriatric care and hospital‑avoidance strategies, the Clinical Nurse works autonomously, applies advanced critical thinking, and provides strong clinical leadership to coordinate safe, effective care across dynamic emergency and rapid‑response environments.

Your opportunity:

  • To provide expert clinical and patient-centred care within RaSS and Department of Emergency Medicine through shift-by-shift team leadership. Support the facilitation and provision of quality and cost-effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice. Responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care/ leadership, management, education and/or research within the specialist field of geriatric care and hospital avoidance strategies. The Clinical Nurse practices autonomously, applies critical thinking and provides leadership in clinical decision making to give and/or coordinate care to RaSS and Department of Emergency Medicine clients.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $58,632 p.a., comprising salary between $57.48 - $61.55 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (Permanent Part Time, 32 hours p.f.)
