About your role:
- Provide secretariat support and quality control of the processes associated with and information provided to the CHHHS Nursing and Midwifery and Allied Health Credentialing and Scope of Clinical Practice Committees; in particular but not restricted to the preparation and collation of high quality correspondence, minutes of meetings and management of confidential information in relation to credentialing and scope of clinical practice.
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of information contained in the comprehensive credentialing database to record the details of information relevant to Credentials and Scope of Clinical Practice including, but not limited to, current scope of clinical practice, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration and documented evidence of currency of practice.
- Initiate and complete regular audits to mitigate the risk of uncredentialed officers working within CHHHS.
- Participate in the development, implementation, review and maintenance of systems, processes and work practices relating to credentialing and scope of clinical practice of Nursing and Midwifery and Allied Health providing a service to facilities within Cairns & Hinterland Hospital & Health Service.
