Your new role:

Join Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services as the Dual Diagnosis Coordinator, where you'll provide advanced clinical leadership to strengthen the care of consumers with co-occurring mental health and alcohol and other drug conditions. Working across inpatient and community settings, you'll drive evidence-based practice, build workforce capability and influence service improvement.

• Provide advanced clinical leadership, consultancy and expert assessment for consumers with dual diagnosis across acute inpatient and community services.
• Build the capability of multidisciplinary teams through education, mentoring, clinical supervision and specialist consultancy.
• Lead quality improvement, clinical governance and evidence-based practice initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver integrated, person-centred care across the continuum of treatment.

About you:

We're looking for an experienced and compassionate clinical leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for people experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and advanced clinical expertise in mental health and alcohol and other drug services.
• Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership, consultation and capacity building across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence practice and lead change.
• Commitment to person-centred, evidence-based care, quality improvement and developing the capability of others.
