Your new role:
Join a collaborative team providing critical workforce support that enables medical services to operate efficiently across Medicine and Emergency. In this varied and rewarding role, you will:
- Coordinate complex medical officer rosters, including on-call, leave and workforce allocations.
- Provide expert advice on rostering, payroll, industrial awards and workforce policies.
- Monitor payroll, time and attendance and workforce data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Partner with Clinical Directors and key stakeholders to resolve workforce issues and support service delivery.
About you:
You're a highly organised workforce professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex rostering and payroll challenges. You will bring:
- Experience in rostering, payroll or workforce administration, with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to interpret industrial awards, policies and workforce procedures, or quickly develop this knowledge.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to work alongside senior clinicians.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality.

About us:
The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
