Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $426,873 to $534,040 p.a. (L18-L27)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Attraction and retention incentive allowance (50% base salary)
- Motor vehicle allowance between $21,000 and $25,500 p.a.
- Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a. + 3.6 weeks p.a. leave
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
The THHS is looking for a Psychiatrist – Perinatal Mental Health.
The role of the Staff Specialist is to provide high quality clinical and non-clinical services to benefit the patients / clients of the THHS. This includes research as well as teaching the health professionals of the future.
The Perinatal Mental Health Service delivers a range of services that includes the Together in Mind Program, in-reach liaison support to Townsville University Hospital (TUH) inpatient units, outpatient assessment and review clinics, primary care education and liaison and support and education across the Mental Health Service Group (MHSG).
All employees of the Mental Health Service Group (MHSG) may be required to work in other areas of the THHS.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable).
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
