About us:
Eventide Home Rockhampton have two main units within the facility, which are Lodges and Courts. These units provide residential aged care for general high care residents, psychogeriatric residents and dementia Residents. Eventide's aim is to provide high standards of resident focused care in an integrated multidisciplinary setting, by responding to complex care requirements delivered in a timely manner and within available resources.
About the role:
- Use nursing knowledge and skills to support and contribute to the delivery of resident centred care and to gain support to address resident care needs that are outside scope of practi
- Contribute to the development and review of care plans, in collaboration with the Registered Nurse and the resident (patient/client/consumer).
- Contribute to the use of evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement in care delivery to achieve the goal of continuous improvement of resident (patient/client/consumer) outcomes.
- Organise own workload to facilitate planned nursing care and gain support from others if workload is not being achieved or resident (patient/client/consumer) care needs exceed scope of practice.
About you:
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.
- Nursing knowledge and skills to competently assess, implement, and evaluate resident (patient/client/consumer) care within scope of practice.
- Demonstrated sound level of clinical care delivery at scope of practice of Enrolled Nurse.
- Contribution to continuous quality improvement in care delivery.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills that support therapeutic nurse-patient communications and working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
What we offer:
- An hourly rate between $47.41 - $50.31 p.h. (including 25% casual loading)
